We didn’t want
another wellness brand.
We wanted less.

Reova exists because the shelf has become unsafe. The same aisle that promises “clean” hides fragrance, preservatives, and thirty-ingredient formulas no pregnant woman could ever trust. We thought a high-performing woman shouldn’t have to read a chemistry degree to run a bath — or roll something onto her skin before bed.

So we did the editing for her. We took magnesium — the single most under-supplemented mineral in women aged 25 to 45 — and we removed everything that didn’t need to be there. No fragrance. No dye. No preservative. No filler. One active. Magnesium chloride, from the Zechstein seabed, sealed 1,500 metres underground since before there were people to contaminate it.

The moment

I started Reova because [the personal catalyst — e.g. “during my pregnancy I couldn’t find a single bath or body product I felt safe using” / “after years of broken sleep and reactive skin, every ‘calming’ product I tried made it worse” / “I spent a decade in [industry] watching brilliant women run on empty”]. I kept looking for the magnesium product I actually wanted — single-ingredient, gentle enough for the most sensitive skin, premium enough to feel like a ritual rather than a chore — and it didn’t exist. So I made it myself, by hand, in small batches, refusing to ship a single bottle I wouldn’t use on my own skin.

What we refuse to do

We will never add a fragrance to make a product “nicer.” We will never use the word “detox.” We will never put a beautiful woman in a towel on the packaging and call it self-care. We formulate at the gentler 10% concentration when the industry pushes 15 to 20, because we’d rather it work quietly than sting impressively.
